PLAGIARISM


WHAT IS PLAGIARISM?
     Plagiarism is presenting someone else’s work or ideas as your own, with or without their consent, by incorporating it into your work without full acknowledgement.
Here are some cases of plagiarism in the Philippines:

First, the slogan of ''Pilipinas kay ganda'' and the original, Poland's ''Polska''
. The logo of Pilipinas kay ganda is striking similarity to Poland's Polska, from the font and the colors to the use of a trees.

Second, The part's of ''Sotto's speeches'' and the original, american blogger Sarah Pope. His 
speeches on his stand on the controversial RH bill were lifted from different online sources.

Third, The speech of Manuel V. Pangilinan and the original, MVP's speeches. 
Prominent businessman Manuel V. Pangilinan and the parts of his speech during Ateneo’s commencement exercises in 2010 was similar to previous MVP's speeches.

Fourth, The article of Jaemark Tordecilla and the original, 
Krip Yuson’s article. In a blog entry posted on April 6, 2011 sports blogger Jaemark Tordecilla compared veteran writer Krip Yuson’s article on the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA).

Last, The Bench's ''latest Fiasco'' and the original, Student Glendford Lumbao. According to Lumbao, Bench never notified him or asked for his permission. His work, he said, was stolen.
